Living Rooms, part of the Lowy Group, run four exclusive 'hotel alternatives' in prime locations in London - Mayfair, Little Venice, Marylebone and Notting Hill.
Prior to approaching Stylo they had just negotiated the complete refurbishment and renovation of a 50 room hotel in Notting Hill, 'The Laslett'.
We were commissioned to re-brand the umbrella company, giving consideration to the sub-brands of each unique property and a particular focus on The Laslett.
Working with director Tracy Lowy and her team we conducted a detailed brand design process to answer this multi-dimensional brief.
The solution for the company identiy utlised an elegant logotype coupled with a distinctive 'keyhole' monogram formed by the 'L' and 'R' of 'Living Rooms', reinforcing the message that a stay at a Living Rooms property is not a stay at a hotel, rather a 'home from home' where guests privacy is paramount.
Individual property identities utilise a hand-written aesthetic. This was then broadly applied across hotel marketing collateral.
The most significant part of the project was the design and development of the new Living Rooms website and integrated booking engine. This involved an extensive user interface design across all devices for the global website and it's four integrated sites (for each hotel) and included extensive image galleries, blog, individual room sections and interactive neighbourhood guides.
